It is home to the Tibetan people, and to other ethnic groups such as Monpas and Lhobas. For many people, Tibet is a uniquely spiritual place and religion is extremely important to the Tibetans and has a strong influence over all aspects of their lives. Experience amazing highs across the ‘roof of the world’ as you traverse the road between Lhasa (Tibet) and Kathmandu (Nepal) which includes the world’s longest descent (150 km/4600 m)!We will ride over 1100 km across six spectacular mountain passes and will also detour to the Rongbuk Valley which lies beneath the North Face of Mount Everest. We spend a night at Everest Base Camp (5200 m) from where the unforgettable sight of this 8850m mighty peak is right in front of our eyes!
