Trains in Tibet

Due to the unique geographical location and conditions of the roof of the world, railways in Tibet are hard to construct. Trains in most places of Tibet are not available. Currently, there are 2 railways and 8 railway stations available on this vast land. Other railways and railway stations like Lhasa-Nyingchi railway, Yunnan-Tibet railway, Xinjiang-Tibet railway and Nyingchi railway station are under plan and construction.
