There are 2 major climatic zones in Ngamring County:
1.Southeast of river valley zone, it is warm, semi-arid climate with little wind, having an annual rainfall of 400 millimeters. The annually average temperature is 6.5°C, the hottest July is around 12°C.
2.Northwest of mountain area zone: it is cold, semi-arid climate, the annually temperature is under 4°C, having an annual rainfall of 300 millimeters.
