Gamba Castle is an ancient castle made of adobe, and you can see the ancient castle from the northeast of the town. There had been an important border region of Gangba(岗巴宗); placing yourself in is just like walking into the medieval European castle. Although the castle was broken as standing about 600 years, former shape is still can be seen on it’s hillside.

We can take a shuttle bus from Shigatse to Kamba County, then transfer a local mini bus to Gamba Castle.
