About Labuqi Monastery in Tingri County, Shigatse

Labuqi Monastery is a famous Tibetan Buddhism monastery in Tingri County. According to local residence, it was built by Qiangbuqudaer(强巴曲达尔) which is the incarnation of Milariba(米拉日巴). This architecture combines the Tibet style and the Nepalese style. This monastery dedicates the statue of Milariba which was sculpted by Reqiongwa and blessing by Milariba. After the Parinirvana of Milariba, there were six true words remained on the oven stone. Then people collected this stone in Dukang shrine.
