Namtso Lake

Namtso Lake is a mountain lake on the border between Damxung County of Lhasa City and Baingoin County of Nagqu City in the Tibet Autonomous Region, China, approximately 240 kilometers from Lhasa, which was born in the Paleogene age because of Himalayan tectonic plate movements. Namtso Lake is the highest saltwater lake in the world with an altitude of 4718 meters, also the second largest saltwater lake in China(after the Qinghai Lake). With peaceful and excellent scenery, Namtso Lake is a great place to wander around, and tourists can enjoy the sunrises in the quiet morning and sunsets at dusk as well.

Mount Everest

Mount Everest, known in Nepali as Sagarmatha and in Tibetan as Chomolungma , is highest peak in the world at the altitude of 8848.13 meters, located in the Mahalangur Himal sub-range of the Himalayas. The international border between Nepal (Province No. 1) and China (Tibet Autonomous Region) runs across its summit point. It attracts a large number of tourists from all over the world and numerable experienced mountaineers that attempt to climb its summit every year. April-May and September-October are the best periods to visit Mount Everest. Mount Kailash

The top of the mountain is 6656 meters above sea level. Mount Kailash is the main peak of the Gangdise Mountains in China and the second peak of the Gangdise Mountains. As one of the famous mountains in China, it is located in the northern part of Burang County, southwest of Tibet Autonomous region. Lake Manasarova

Covering more than 400 square kilometers of waters, Lake Manasarovar is the world’s highest freshwater lake. with 4587 meters above sea level and the water depth of 77 meters. It is located between the main peaks of the Gangdise Mountains- Mount Kailash and Gurla Mandhata Peak of Himalayas, in Burang County of Tibet.  Manasarovar means “undefeated, victorious” in Tibetan Language, and is known as “Holy Lake”. Around the Lake Manasarovar, there are 7 monasteries, including Chiu Monastery, Gossul Monastery, Trugo Monastery, Yerngo Monastery, Seralung Monastery, Langbona Monastery and Cherkip Monastery. Chiu Monastery is usually the start and end points of Lake Manasarova Trekking Route.
