Ziri Gongba Monastery, also known as “Ziri Gunba Monastery” or “Ziri Monastery”,  is located in the northeast of Baingoin County, Nagqu. The local meaning of “Ziri Gongba” is white spot in the ox forehead. It is a small monastery which has collected precious Buddha statues and all kinds of Buddhist scriptures in the pastoral area.

Visitors can take long-distance bus or choose self-driving from Baingoin County seat. Please pay attention to weather conditions. In the rainy season (July & August), cars often get struck in the mud and delays happen frequently.
