About Wujianguru Monastery in Xaitongmoin County, Shigatse
Wujianguru Monastery is located in the west of Sanggongma Mountain(桑贡玛山), Renqinzi Village. 4,000 m above sea level, Wujianguru Monastery was built in 1196. It’s a Buddhist nun Monastery and there are 12 nuns. The main building is composed of two parts: Zulakang(祖拉康) and Xia Miao(下庙). Zulakang is worship Shakyamuni Buddha(释迎牟尼佛), HuluLuewang Gilding Bronze Statue(怙鲁琼旺鎏金铜像), Guru Rinpoche(莲花生大师), Matou Buddha’s warrior attendant(马头金刚) and Vajradhara Clay Figure(金刚持泥塑像). Xia Miao is a place for nuns and it’s worship Guanyin. This monastery collect a conch pottery which is a rare Buddhist instruments. 

Attraction Transportation: Wujianguru Monastery is located in the west of Sanggongma Mountain (桑贡玛山), Renqinzi Village. The highway traffic system is perfect, so visitors can take bus or choose self-driving from Xaitongmoin County seat to Renqinzi Village.
