About Reqin Monastery in Biru County, Nagqu

Reqin Monastery is located in Liangqu Village of Biru County, Nagqu. Renqin Monastery was built in 1422 by Dabu Baimabaize(达布白玛白泽). There are 1055 pagodas in Reqin Monastery. There are 1042 small pagodas on the wall, 4 large pagodas in the yard, 8 pagodas near the celestial burial and one pagoda near the monastery. Among the 1056 pagodas, there are 13 Buddhist pagodas with special significance. They were built to repression of the ghosts, reincarnation, amar mahruf yahi mungkar, inviting the God and to commemorate Jiabu Meiba(加布美巴).

Attraction Transportation: 

Visitors can take long-distance bus or choose self-driving from Biru County seat. Please pay attention to weather conditions. In the rainy season (July & August), cars often get struck in the mud and delays happen frequently.
